Young Soccer Players Outshoot Competition in Tournament
The young girls' team performed at the top of the pack over the weekend.
The South Carroll Soccer Club's Under 13 girls' team took third place in the Dillsburg "Shoot Out" competition last weekend.
The Hornets placed out of 24 teams from Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania with a 6-2 record and a shoot out win over North Carroll.
"This was the most exciting part of the tournament and kept everyone on the edge of their seat," said assistant coach Mark Karukas.

"The girls showed great teamwork through out the tournament with goals from various players to go along with a strong defense that shut down their opponents."
