The Lions were led by Sam Lipsky with two goals and two assists. Teammate Wesley Stinson also chipped in with two goals. Also finding the net for Liberty were Maxwell Graumann, Nolan McCoy, Evan Lacroix and Brett Sussman.
Francis Scott Key got on the scoreboard first as Hunter Strine scored on a pass from Brandon Redhi with 29:42 left in the first half.

"We had troubles getting things started, but once we started, we started playing our game," said Liberty coach Todd Muschik.
Four minutes later the Lions tied the score on a throw-in from Ryan Dillon that Lipsky headed into the goal. It didn't take long for the Lions to break the tie as Stinson scored three minutes later on a pass from Lipsky.

With 18:26 left in the half, Lipsky broke away from the Eagle defense and centered the ball to Graumann, who converted the pass. Lipsky got his second goal on a throw-in as McCoy threw the ball in, and Jason Wolf headed the ball to Lipsky for the 4-1 half time lead.
The second half belonged to the Lions as they scored four more goals. The Lions made 13 of their 22 shots in the second half. The Eagles had nine shots in the game. The FSK goalies made 28 saves in the game.
Muschik was able to use everyone, including all three goalies. Goalies Ethan DeBandi and Brennan Werner each had two saves in the game.
"I think we are all on the same page, as a team. The direction we want to go during the game, rather it’s the starters in or guys come in for those guys. We have 26 guys on our team, so it's nice to have everyone playing on the same page," said Muschik.
Liberty is 3-0 in the county and 5-1 overall. The Eagles fell to 1-2 in the county and 2-3 overall. The Lions host county foe Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
