"We dug a hole and just couldn’t get out of it. I told them it’s December, it’s a long season. We got nine new guys that didn’t play varsity before. It’s just a matter of getting our game together," said Liberty coach Jay Seaborg.
The visitors were up 48-20 at halftime. Liberty outscored the Titans 14-12 in the third quarter to trail 60-34 going in to the final eight minutes of play. The visitors hit for 17 points to only five for Liberty in the final quarter.

We won the third quarter. We played well in the third quarter and then we kind of just lost it at the end," said Seaborg.
