Liberty High School Evacuated for Electrical Short in Cafeteria
Students and staff were evacuated Friday morning after an electrical short in the cafeteria.

Students and staff at Liberty High School were evacuated around 10 a.m. Friday after the fire alarm bell was activated, according to an alert from the Carroll County Public School System.
The evacuation lasted approximately 15 minutes before students and staff were able to return back inside to their classes.
The problem was determined to be an electrical short in the cafeteria, according to the alert.

Lunches were served after the alarm and students will operate on a normal schedule for the remainder of the day.
