Liberty Marching Band Takes Home First Place Honors
Lions capture two first place awards in competitions over the weekend.
The marching band had a busy Saturday as it took part in two competitions, winning high honors in both.
The Lions captured first place in Group Two action in both Tournament of Band events.
Members performed first at Brunswick High School and scored a 77.70, along with capturing high auxiliary and percussion honors. The Lions had the top score of all the bands performing in all the groups.

Liberty got on the bus and went on to Martinsburg, WV to perform, and once again marched to first place in Group Two. The band scored 78.75 and took honors for high music, visual, percussion and drum major.
The Lions are in action again Saturday as they travel to Arundel High School for an event at 5 p.m. also goes on the road to take part in the USSBA Marine Corps Invitational in Annapolis.
