Liberty Tops Competition at International Thespian Society Festival
The students took home the honors for the first time this weekend.
The Drama Department added a major title to its collection this weekend, capturing first place at the International Thespian Society Festival Maryland Conference.
The state competition brings theatre programs together from across the state, all vying for a spot at the national competition in June.
Liberty won that chance with its performance of the J. Robert Wilkins' play "War Letters," a story of sacrifices made by soldiers and their families.
