The Weather Forces Sports Schedules to Shift

Mother Nature won Thursday and Friday’s sporting events as they were postponed to later dates.

Century

The boys lacrosse match-up with Walkersville has been moved to April 9 with the junior varsity at 5:15 p.m. followed by the varsity at 6:45 p.m.

The "B" squad softball and baseball games against North Carroll have been moved to April 26. Both games will get underway at 4:30. The baseball team will play a doubleheader against the Panthers with both games going five innings.

The varsity baseball and softball games at Westminster scheduled for Friday were rained out and a new date has not been set.

Liberty

The Lions will take on Westminster in boys lacrosse on May 5. The games will be on the Owls field with the junior varsity at 5:30 followed by the varsity at 7 p.m.

The Owl girls lacrosse team will visit Liberty on April 11. The junior varsity will go first at 5 p.m. and the varsities will take the field at 6:15 p.m.

A date has not been set for when the Lions will host Winters Mill in junior varsity baseball and softball. You can use the images I sent you yesterday.

The varsity baseball and softball teams were to travel to Winters Mill on Friday. The games will be played on April 26 at 4:30 p.m.

South Carroll

The Cavalier boys lacrosse teams will travel to North Carroll on April 21. The junior varsity will face off at 5:15 p.m. and the varsity at 6:45 p.m.

South Carroll will host Manchester Valley "B" baseball and softball teams on April 13.

The first pitch for each game will be at 4:30 p.m.

The Cavaliers were to host Francis Scott Key in varsity baseball and softball Friday. A new date has not been set.
