Firefighters Respond to Truck Fire in Sykesville

Firefighters from the Winfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to reports of an auto fire in the 5700 block of White Rock Road in Sykesville early Tuesday morning, according to a post on the fire department's website. 

The firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 2:53 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, according to the post.

When they arrived, the pickup truck was fully engulfed in flames. 

Units were on the scene for close to an hour Tuesday morning, clearing the area around 3:45 a.m., according to the post.
