Burn Victim Hospitalized After House Fire in Elkridge, Officials Say
A kitchen fire Sunday morning sent one person to the burn center, Howard County Fire and Rescue officials reported.

ELKRIDGE, MD — One person was hospitalized with second-degree burns after a house fire in Elkridge Sunday morning, officials reported.
After 11:30 a.m., firefighters responded to the 7100 block of Fox Harbor Way, where a kitchen blaze had spread to the cabinets, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
The sprinkler knocked the fire, which was out by 11:45 a.m., the department reported.

One person was taken to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center at Bayview with second-degree burns that were not believed to be life-threatening and possible smoke inhalation, officials said.
