Columbia Gym Hosts Zumbathon for Grassroots
Benefit is open to public and features four popular zumba instructors
The Columbia Gym is hosting a Zumbathon fundraiser for Grassroots, Howard County’s 24-hour crisis intervention center and shelter for the homeless, on Friday, Nov. 20, from 7-9 p.m.
The benefit, “Zumba Passion for Compassion,” will feature popular Zumba instructors Roxanne (Roxy) Berkheimer, Jenn Burley, Charles Saunders and Laura (Lulu) Sines (shown in photo). The high-tech aerobic gym has 2,000 square feet of cardio workout space, in addition to its other features.
The public is invited to attend the Zumbathon. Refreshments and a raffle drawing are included in the post-event party in the Atrium. Admission is $20.

The Columbia Gym is located at 6151 Day Long Lane adjacent to the River Hill Shopping Center. It is a Columbia Association facility. Registration is required at http://zumbaforcompassion.eventbrite.com
