Fire Reported On Orchard Club Drive
Howard County firefighters said smoke was showing Monday night from Elkridge apartment building.

ELKRIDGE, MD - An apartment fire in Elkridge was quickly brought under control Monday night by a sprinkler system, officials said.
Crews were dispatched to an apartment building in the 6300 block of Orchard Club Drive where smoke was showing, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported after 7 p.m.
Sprinklers went off at the apartment complex and put out the blaze, officials said. By 7:11 p.m., the fire was declared knocked.

According to officials, firefighters remained at the scene to ventilate the area.
