Garage Fire in Elkridge Under Control, Officials Say
Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions battled Friday garage blaze, Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported.

ELKRIDGE, MD – Crews from three counties responded to a garage fire in Elkridge Friday afternoon, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. Nobody was injured, the department reported.
At 1:10 p.m., firefighters were at the scene of the residence in the 7000 block of Lennox Avenue, and by 1:40 p.m., officials said the blaze had been placed under control.
In addition to Howard, firefighters from Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties provided assistance, officials reported.

The garage blaze occurred on a day when the National Weather Service advised citizens to be vigilant, as the potential for fires to spread was increased due to gusty winds and low humidity.
