Give Where You Live 5K Update:
Howard High School won the “School Participation Award” with 53 runners in this year’s Give Where You Live 5K race, which had a record 193 registered runners. Many of the runners were Cross Country Team members and their families. For winning the participation contest between all the Elkridge feeder schools, Howard students received a $500 prize put up by race organizer, CrossLife Community Church. In the spirit of the “Give Where You Live Race,” the students chose to donate the money back to the Elkridge Food Pantry.
