Construction Underway in Meadowridge Plaza: Howard Wellness Center

When completed, the building currently under construction near Meadowridge Plaza will house a suite of wellness services, according to developer Don Reuwer.

"Health club, dentist, family doc and urgent care…" Reuwer ticked off the tenants who have signed up for space in the Howard Wellness Center.

The 40,000-square-foot building will also include a yoga studio and massage spa, said Reuwer.

Select Eye Care, moving from its Columbia office, will occupy a 10,000 square-foot surgery center providing laser cataract surgery and Reuwer said it will be the "lead" tenant.

Reuwer said he and development partner Richard Talkin plan for buildout to take place in October. As of Aug. 8, the building was 75 percent leased.
