Overturned Truck Causing Delays on US 1
BREAKING: Northbound traffic was blocked on Washington Boulevard due to trash truck flip, officials said.
ELKRIDGE, MD — An overturned truck is causing delays for those headed north on US 1 out of Elkridge Wednesday morning. The single-vehicle crash was reported around 8:15 a.m., according to state transportation officials.
After 8:30 a.m., the State Highway Administration reported that US 1 north was closed in the area of I-195 because of an overturned trash truck.
Drivers were advised to use MD 295 north or I-95 north as alternates.

Highway personnel were in the area working on cleanup after 10 a.m., and US 1 north was still closed.
