Rodney H. Scaife Named National Kidney Foundation of Maryland Board Chair

Elkridge resident brings 25 years of experience in operations leadership and human resources.

LUTHERVILLE, Md. −The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland (NKF-MD) has elected Rodney H. Scaife chairman of its board of directors.

“I am honored to be chosen as chairman and will work with the CEO, the leadership team, the Board, and the community to continue building upon the solid foundation in which has been established at NKF-MD by Chris Simon, and the Board leadership,” said Scaife, who joined the NKF-MD board in 2012 and has served on its strategic planning committee.

“Our focus will be to serve the mission of the National Kidney Foundation, align with the community, and achieve operational excellence within the organization,” he added. “This will allow for NKF-MD to further strive toward greater heights by focusing on providing awareness, education and the prevention of kidney disease.”

Scaife brings 25 years of combined experience in sales, operations and human resources. As director of HR operations for PANDORA Jewelry, he currently oversees various back office support areas and HR Client Service Delivery for Pandora Americas’ corporate-owned stores.

He previously held sales and operations leadership positions with Keebler Company, Pepsi-Co and Footstar Inc. and served as vice president of human resources with Allegis Group, senior director of human resources for Freddie Mac and global human resources business partner and director of global HR solutions for AOL.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Delta State University, he completed an executive education program focusing on strategic human resources at Cornell University. A member of the Executive Leadership Council and The National Football League Players Association, he also is a life member of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources and the Delta State University Alumni Association.

Scaife resides in Elkridge with his wife, Montrell, and their two children: daughter, Taylor, and son Tanner.
