Route 1 Closed In Elkridge For Gas Line Issue: SHA
Avoid a certain part of US 1/Washington Boulevard in Elkridge, transportation officials advise.
ELKRIDGE, MD — A section of Route 1/Washington Boulevard is closed in Elkridge because of an issue with utilities.
A gas line issue is closing Route 1 between Levering Avenue and Montgomery Road, according to the State Highway Administration.
The road was closed at 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, officials said; and the gas line repair will cause closures through Friday morning.
