Police said man tried to lure elementary school children into his Mercedes.

A Savage man has been charged with indecent exposure after he approached children on their way to school in Jessup Thursday morning and flashed a 10-year-old, according to a report from the Howard County Police Department.

Cartrel Darryl Baboolal, 25, of the 8700 block of Lincoln Street in Savage, was taken into custody and is in the process of being booked, police said.

Authorities say they identified Baboolal as the suspect after five children arrived at Bollman Bridge Elementary School Thursday morning and reported suspicious behavior to officials, who ran his license information to find him.
