$30K Winning Scratch Ticket Claimed By Ellicott City Man
The 31-year-old man plans to tackle a few home improvement projects and travel with his wife.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A 31-year-old Howard County resident couldn't believe his luck when he won a $30,000 top prize on a Lucky Bingo scratch ticket. The winning ticket was bought at the Cash Depot #35 in Brooklyn. While the winner has won smaller amounts in the past, this is his biggest win so far.
The man told the Maryland Lottery that he first thought he won $3,000. After a second glance, he realized he actually had won $30,000. His wife and family members were just as surprised as he was, he said. The winner plans to use the windfall for home improvements and to travel.
Cash Depot, located at 8 16th Avenue in Brooklyn, earns a $300 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch ticket.
