50+EXPO Explores Age-Friendly Options
17th annual county event focuses on "Creating a Community for All Ages"
Howard County Office on Aging’s 50+EXPO was a huge success again this year, its 17th. There were 169 exhibitors, as well as seminars, food and entertainment. The theme was “Creating a Community for All Ages,” and the event provided information and resources for attendees to explore age-friendly community options in Howard County and plan for the future. Vantage House Retirement Community was one of the exhibitors, and Residency Counselor Aupalene Blake spoke with attendees about life in the Downtown Columbia community.
