• Driver Killed After SUV Strikes Tree In Ellicott City: Police (patch.com) — Residents in Ellicott City may notice Ilchester Road back open after a fatal single-vehicle crash Friday night, when a northbound SUV left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, died at the scene, and Howard County police are still investigating what caused the collision.
• Race Road Water Main Extension Project to Begin in Elkridge (einpresswire.com) — Howard County is starting a water main extension along Race Road in Elkridge, announced from Ellicott City and scheduled to begin around October 5 with completion expected by late December 2026.
