Apartment Fire Knocked in Ellicott City, Officials Say

ELLICOTT CITY, MD - Firefighters were called to an apartment blaze in Ellicott City Tuesday, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Around noon, the department reported that the blaze in the 8700 block of Town and Country Boulevard had been knocked.

First responders searched the building and declared it clear, according to the report.

Authorities asked people to avoid the area, as crews were still at the scene as of 12:15 p.m.
