The APL Drama Club Presents Fools: A Comic Fable, by Neil Simon

Join the APL Drama Club for our spring production of Fools: A Comic Fable by Neil Simon. Fools is a silly, lighthearted, and endearing comedy that tells the story of Leon Steponovitch Tolchinsky, who travels to the small remote village of Kulyenchikov for his first job as a new schoolteacher. Little does he know that the village has been cursed with ignorance and stupidity for two hundred years. He has twenty-four hours to enlighten the young and beautiful Sophia Zubritsky, before he, too, will succumb to the curse!

Prior to the main Fools event, the Drama Club will also be presenting an interactive, family-friendly pre-show, including improv, puppet-making, a puppet show, a Drama Club film, and other fun activities! Performances will occur in the Kossiakoff Center Auditorium (at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, 11100 Johns Hopkins Road, Laurel, MD, 20723) on the following dates:

April 10 - Pre-show at 6:30pm, Fools starts at 7:30pm
April 11 - Pre-show at 6:30pm, Fools starts at 7:30pm
April 12 - Pre-show at 1:00pm, Fools starts at 2:00pm
April 18 - Pre-show at 6:30pm, Fools starts at 7:30pm
April 19 - Pre-show at 1:00pm, Fools starts at 2:00pm
