The Arc of Howard County Holds Annual Awards Event
Celebration of Excellence recognizes those who promote full community life.
The Arc of Howard County will host its Annual Meeting and Celebration of Excellence awards event on Wednesday, May 13, at The Gathering Place in Clarksville. The annual meeting is at 7 p.m. The Celebration of Excellence reception begins at 7:30 p.m., and the awards ceremony will begin at 8 p.m.
Award presentations will be made to individuals and groups that promote The Arc’s mission of achieving full community life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Six categories of achievement will be recognized at the awards ceremony: employment, schools, professional services, community, public service, and self-advocacy.
