Challenge Grant Awarded The Arc of Howard County
Board member and benefactor Lisa Higgins Hussman announces she will match up to $20,000 in gifts to the Silver Arc Legacy Fund.

The Arc of Howard County recently honored Silver Arc Legacy Donors at Wines & Steins, its Fall signature event. Hosted by Camberley Homes, Wines & Steins attracted donors and other friends, including newly elected County Executive Allan Kittleman.
The Silver Arc Legacy Fund has over 170 contributors who have donated or pledged over $1 million, thanks in large part to the “tipping point” generosity of board member and long time supporter Lisa Higgins Hussman. Ed Wilson, President of The Arc, announced that Hussman recently made a $20,000 matching grant to the Silver Arc Legacy Fund. Gifts to the Fund grow The Arc’s endowment, providing income in perpetuity to meet the needs of The Arc and the people it serves.
Wines & Steins was organized by volunteer Nancy Bond and members of The Arc’s Resource Development team.
