Columbia Solar Cooperative - Information Session!

Columbia Association is partnering with Civic Works to promote this innovative program in the Columbia community.

Columbia residents can now join a local Cooperative to go solar as a group and get a discount! Based on the same principal as buying in bulk, the co-op will go through the process of purchasing solar systems together with the guidance of an Energy Advocate. The group will work with a preferred contractor to install systems on all of the homes, but each participant owns their own system and will sign their own contract with the chosen installer.

By going solar as a group, participants will save approximately 25% off the cost of a solar system. The co-op is being organized by Civic Works’ Retrofit Baltimore program. Columbia Association is partnering with Civic Works to promote this innovative program in the Columbia community.
