Comedienne Paris Sashay To Perform In Ellicott City Friday

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival brings outdoor comedy to the courtyard outside of Little Market Cafe, 3731 Hamilton St., on Friday with headliner Paris Sashay who will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Sashay is a comedienne, actor, writer and producer from Washington, D.C. She's been labeled one of the funniest rising comediennes with performances at Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, BET 50 Central and ‘Unprotected Sets’ on EPIX.

She also has performed at The Howard Theatre, The Kennedy Center, Caroline’s on Broadway, Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar. She triumphantly debuted at the DC Improv only days after losing several teeth in a brutal attack by a toxic man who sexually harassed her on the street. After that incident, Sashay launched the #TeethAndTittiesCampaign raising awareness about violence against women.

Sashay has worked with the likes of Michael Che, Dick Gregory, Wanda Sykes, Lil Rel, Domonique, Jen Kirkman, Jay Chandrasekhar , Tony Roberts and Roy Wood Jr.
