Ellicott City Liquor Store Fails Alcohol Compliance Test: Police
Ten of 12 stores tested across the county passed inspection, police said.

Police say they cited one liquor store in Ellicott City recently for selling alcohol to a minor.
Angels Cut Wine & Spirits on Richards Valley Road was one of two stores that police said failed its recent compliance test when a teen went undercover and tried to buy alcohol, according to the Howard County Police Department.
The volunteer, who is a member of HC DrugFree, had an ID that clearly showed he was not 21 years old, according to police.

All Saints Liquors in Laurel was the only other store besides Angels Cut Wine & Spirits out of the dozen tested which failed to adhere to the law, police said.

- Lark Brown Liquors in Elkridge
- Twisted Cork in Elkridge
- I.M. Wine in Fulton
- Bottom of the Bay in Laurel
- Cherry’s Liquors in Laurel
- Montpelier Liquors in Laurel
- Friendship Liquors in West Friendship
Police said officials cited All Saints Liquors and Angels Cut Wine & Spirits, which must appear before the Howard County Alcohol Beverage Hearing Board regarding the violations.
