Come Buy Locally Grown Strawberries and Eat Fresh at the Ellicott City Old Town Market this Saturday, May 30, where you will find seasonal, local Farm-Fresh Fruits, Veggies, Meats, Eggs, local cheeses, Fresh Pickles, salsas, hummus, baked goods, pies, cupcakes, breads, pastries, coffee, prepared foods, and listen to live, local music and more!

We’re celebrating the Scrumptious Strawberry this Saturday at the Ellicott City Old Town Market! We’ll have a plentiful supply of fresh-picked strawberries! Our vendors will have foods made with local strawberries to show some of the ways they like to prepare this incredible fruit, widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture and sweetness. In the meantime, here are two recipes that might be good to try with locally grown or produced items you should be able to find at our farmers’ market!

Have you tried Orchard Breeze Farm’s special cuts of grain-fed Beef, Berkshire Pork, Bison, Chicken, and Turkey? Come get your favorite Steaks and more to throw on the grill for your cookouts and special parties! Orchard Breeze Farm also has various flavors of Turkey sausage, smoked bacon and farm-fresh free-range eggs! Jim, Brookelynn and Joyce will be at the Ellicott City Old Town Market every Saturday throughout the season to serve you and they also will take your special orders!
