Find COVID-19 Vaccination Sites In Howard County: Oct. 8

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — If you're looking to get vaccinated this week, we have a list of county-operated vaccination clinics for you.

You can register for vaccines at this site and a variety of sites by using the state vaccine locator at https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine#locator.

As of Friday, 71.8 percent of Howard County residents have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 234,000 people. Fully vaccinated people comprise 72.2 percent of the county's residents, or 235,298 people. The most vaccinated segment of the county population happens to be those aged 50 to 59.

Howard County is the only jurisdiction in Maryland with more than 97 percent of its residents age 65 and older having received at least one dose, according to the Maryland Department of Health. Howard County continues to lead Maryland in vaccination efforts across almost all demographics.

"Howard County has led on vaccinating our residents throughout this year, and we're leaving no stone unturned to reach the small percentage that remains unvaccinated," Ball said. "Especially for our older adults who are more susceptible to serious illness from COVID-19, it is vital to get vaccinated. With the delta variant spreading throughout our state and nation, it is more important than ever to protect yourself and your loved ones."
