Fire Near Ellicott City Prompts Emergency Response
BREAKING: Folly Quarter Road is impacted by the fire response, officials say.
GLENELG, MD — A chimney fire has been reported in the Glenelg area. The blaze broke out Wednesday night and resulted in the closure of a section of Folly Quarter Road, according to officials.
Crews were at the scene of the chimney fire in the 4300 block of Maisel Farm Lane after 7 p.m., the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported.
Folly Quarter Road was shut down between Maryvale Court and Buckskin Lake Drive, officials said after 7:10 p.m.
