Fireworks Demonstration Planned Tuesday In Marriottsville: Officials

MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD — Those near the Howard County public training center in Marriottsville Tuesday afternoon may notice smoke and loud noises.

From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services advised it would be conducting a demonstration for fire marshals involving the pre-inspection of pyrotechnics displays.

The displays that will be tested are small, officials said.

The exercise will be conducted at the James N. Robey Public Safety Training Center, 2200 Scott Wheeler Drive, in Marriottsville.
