Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner Attracts 60
Over 60 residents of the Elkridge area gathered at the Melville United Methodist Church.
Volunteers helped to serve approximately 60 guests at the first annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner held at the Melville United Methodist Church in partnership with the Elkridge Food Pantry on November 27. Food was donated by local grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries and Howard County high school students, who also served the guests. The event was the idea of Jeanne Slater, Director of the Elkridge Senior Center.
