HCPSS Issues Weather Decision For Thursday, Jan. 31

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Howard County will open two hours late on Thursday, Jan. 31. The decision was made Wednesday night.

Buses will run on a two-hour delay.

Morning child care programs sponsored by the Columbia Association and Department of Recreation and Parks in Howard County public schools will be delayed by two hours.

Morning half-day prekindergarten and RECC programs are canceled on Thursday, Jan. 31.

While the Howard County Public School System will have a delayed opening, the central office will open on time.
