HCPSS Superintendent Receives Friend Of The Farmer Award
Superintendent Michael Martirano received an award for bringing back the agriculture program to the school system.
From HCPSS:Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) Superintendent Michael J. Martirano received the Friend of the Farmer award at last night’s Howard County Farm Bureau Legislative Banquet.
Martirano was recognized for the school system’s efforts to bring back the Agricultural Science Academy to HCPSS this past year, as part of its overall commitment to promoting agricultural and environmental opportunities and awareness for its students.
The annual Howard County Farm Bureau Legislative Banquet provides farm bureau members an opportunity to discuss current matters relating to legislation and government on a local, state and national level.
