Holiday Train Gardens On Display In Ellicott City, Cooksville

There are two holiday train gardens on display in Ellicott City at the museum and in Cooksville at the Gary J. Arthur Community Center.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Celebrate the holidays by visiting the 22nd annual Baltimore & Ohio Ellicott City Station Museum Train Garden Nov. 29 through Jan. 5 at 3711 Maryland Avenue. The train garden can be seen during the museum's normal operating hours. There will be Lego trains and N gauge and O gauge models on display.

The Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department will accept new, unwrapped toys for children at the train garden or any Howard County fire station Nov. 30-Dec. 20.

There also will be a holiday train garden at the Gary J. Arthur Community Center Dec. 2 through Jan. 3 that will be open during the center's operating hours at 2400 MD 97 in Cooksville. The interactive exhibit of accessories and sounds are provided by train enthusiast Dennis Moore. The display features four continuously operating trains through an 8x8-foot scenic garden.
