Howard County Center Of African American Culture Has Reopened With New Exhibits
New exhibits and historical accounts can be enjoyed at the recently reopened Howard County Center of African American Culture.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Center of African American Culture has reopened with new exhibits and historical accounts.
The Howard County exhibit focuses on the achievements and contributions from African Americans throughout Howard County history. The Maryland exhibit highlights the contributions and achievements that African Americans have made across the state while the African celebrates Africa and its connection to Black Americans in Howard County.
The center held a soft opening Feb. 15 and will hold a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 28 to close out Black History Month.

The center is located at 5434 Vantage Point Road in Columbia.
