Howard County Officers, Recruits Take A Dip For Chilly Plunge Maryland

Howard County police officers and recruits dove into the chilly Chesapeake Bay recently as part of the Plunge Maryland event.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Area police departments participated in the Plunge Maryland event to raise money for Special Olympics Maryland.

The Howard County Police Department officers and recruits from Academy 47 ended up raising more than $4,350 to support the Special Olympics Maryland. Officers took a chilly dip in the Chesapeake Bay as part of the fun.
