Howard County Public School System Makes Weather Decision
Winter weather advisory prompts several school districts in central Maryland to revise schedules.
All Howard County public schools will open two hours late on Wednesday, Jan. 14, the Howard County Public School System reported Wednesday morning.
Morning sessions of half day pre-kindergarten and RECC programs are canceled.
All morning programs in Howard County public schools that are sponsored by the Columbia Association and the Department of Recreation & Parks will be delayed two hours.

Howard County is under a winter weather advisory until noon on Wednesday, with the National Weather Service calling for up to an inch of snow.
