I-70 Crash Jams Traffic Near Howard-Carroll Line: SHA
BREAKING: A medevac was called to a crash on Interstate 70, and officials said delays continued after takeoff.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD - A crash on Interstate 70 that required a medevac snarled traffic in Howard County Friday evening, according to officials.
All lanes except the left one were closed on I-70 near the Carroll County line due to a crash, the Maryland State Highway reported after 7 p.m.
The collision occurred on I-70 west between Route 32 and the weigh station, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash around 5:51 p.m., according to transportation officials.
By 6:30 p.m., emergency officials said the victim was airborne, en route to treatment.

The only traffic getting by was the left lane on I-70 west as of 7:40 p.m.
