Let's Go HoCo: Signup Under Way

Registration is open for the Howard County Public School System’s community 5K run/walk and a 1-mile fun run dubbed Let’s Go HoCo.

This event’s goal is bring together school students, families, and staff, as well as the larger community to celebrate a Healthy Howard County, according to organizers.

Let’s Go HoCo begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12. Both routes begin and end at the Sheraton Columbia Town Center.

“Let’s Go HoCo is a great way to bring together students, families, staff and Howard County community members to promote health and wellness,” said Renee A. Foose, superintendent, in a release. “The race will include beginners, intermediate and professional level athletes. We look forward to this becoming a yearly event.”
