Howard County Sergeant Named MDTA Police Supervisor Of The Year
A Maryland Transportation Authority Police sergeant from Howard County has been named MDTA Police Supervisor of the Year.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD —Sgt. Edward Bartlinski with the Maryland Transportation Authority Police has been named the 2022 MDTA Police Supervisor of the Year.
A 14-year veteran of the force, Bartlinski of Ellicott City was recognized for mentoring new officers and for his contributions to the crash reconstruction unit and the crisis negotiation team.
During 2022, Bartlinski patrolled busy interstates in Howard County including I-95 and I-895.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police is the eighth largest law enforcement agency in the state with more than 500 sworn and civilian professionals. The MDTA Police are responsible for law enforcement at the MDTA's bridge and tunnel thruways, highways, the Baltimore Washington International/Thurgood Marshall Airport and the Port of Baltimore.
