Missing Ellicott City Boy Has Been Found: Police

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A missing seven-year-old boy from Ellicott City has been found unharmed. Lana Owen Ayara was reported missing Tuesday after he got off the school bus at the end of the school day after leaving Hollifield Elementary School, but did not make it home.

Originally, Howard County police officers said he got on an unknown bus. But they clarified to say that he got on his regular bus and got off at his usual bus stop. His mom, who was watching the bus stop and waiting for him to arrive at home, called police when he didn't come home. Lana was reported found at approximately 6:30 p.m.
