Next ARTreach Courtyard Concert Set for November 15

Enjoy a free afternoon of music featuring students from Damon Foreman Music Academy during the Howard County Arts Council’s next free ARTreach Courtyard Concert at Long Reach Village Center on November 15 from 2–4 p.m.

Howard County’s own Damon Foreman Music Academy (DFMA) provides unique, quality, practical instruction where students can experience the pure joy of making music. Led by talented musician and Long Reach resident Damon Foreman and a team of experienced teachers and performers, the Academy offers instruction in several instruments. A select group of students will showcase their skills during the concert.

Tickets are not required for this free concert. Limited seating is available or bring your own chair. The concert coincides with the Columbia Art Center’s exhibits of artwork by Geraldine Butler and Julie Gross. There will be a free opening reception in the gallery from 2 to 4 pm.

A free music series presented by Howard County Arts Council through a grant from Howard County, MD, ARTreach Courtyard Concerts invite members of the community to enjoy performances by local and regional musicians as they visit Long Reach Village Center shops and restaurants, explore the art center, or relax in the courtyard.

The final 2015 ARTreach Courtyard Concert, which will feature students from music programs at Long Reach High School, is scheduled for December 11 from 5-7 pm.
