UPS Driver Injured In Hit And Run: Police
An Ellicott City man was hit by an SUV on Daniels Road Saturday that did not stop after the crash, police said.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police said a UPS driver sustained significant injuries Saturday night when he was hit by a vehicle on Daniels Road in a collision. Investigators said the vehicle, an older model SUV, left the scene.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Daniels Road off Old Frederick Road.
Charles Taylor Burry, 27, of Ellicott City, was was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in critical condition, according to police.

Investigators said Burry was out of his truck delivering packages in the 2300 block of Daniels Road when an SUV that had been traveling south on Daniels Road drove into the northbound lanes and hit him. It did not stop afterward, police said.
An older model white SUV was believed to be the suspect vehicle, and investigators said it should have damage to the mirror on the driver's side.

Police asked anyone who has seen the vehicle to call 911.
