BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Tips from citizens led authorities to identify the suspect in a recent pharmacy robbery as an Ellicott City man. The Howard County resident has been charged in the pharmacy holdup, police said.
Timothy Smallwood, 48, of the 8700 block of Town and Country Boulevard in Ellicott City, has been charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault, using a dangerous weapon with intent to injure and misdemeanor theft, police reported Tuesday. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
The charges came after police made public images from the March robbery of a Reisterstown business in hopes of identifying the suspect.
