Lights were out at Hollifield Station Elementary School in Ellicott City Thursday morning, according to the Howard County Public School System, which reported they were back on by 9 a.m.
The school system said class would begin at the usual time at the elementary school off Rogers Avenue, where power should be restored by 10 a.m.
At 8:57 a.m. the power had been restored, the school system reported.
According to BGE, 322 customers in Howard County were without power as of 8:40 a.m. on Thursday.
