Racially Offensive Stickers Found In Ellicott City: Police Report
Dozens of stickers featuring racially offensive language were found on two separate occasions in the area of Centennial Lane.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The Howard County Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred in Ellicott City recently. Officers received a report that stickers with racially offensive language on them were posted in the area of Centennial Lane. Responding officers searched the area and found 27 such stickers, according to the police department.
Two days later, police were summoned back to the area for another report about similar stickers being discovered. The woman who reported the stickers had taken them down by the time police arrived, but a search revealed one additional sticker, a police report noted.
Sherry Llewellyn, spokesperson for the Howard County Police Department, told Patch the stickers are considered evidence in an ongoing investigation into this incident.
