Residences at Vantage Point Compass Series Includes Planning for Retirement
Informative sessions feature experts discussing retirement living options, aligning finances and legacy and selling a home in today's market

Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a new Compass Seminar Series, including informative sessions designed to help people plan for the future during retirement.
The first program in the series is “Retirement Living Options” presented by Patti Hutton, Director of Marketing for Residences at Vantage Point, on Thursday, March 19, 10 a.m. Topics will include factors to consider in making the best decision for the entire family and the various options available and their costs.
“Planning for Today and Tomorrow During Retirement: Aligning Finances, Purpose, and Legacy” is set for Thursday, April 9, 10 a.m. It will be presented by three attorneys with David Agnor Rapaport Skalney: Alexander Zarzecki, Alina Yohannan and Chirstopher Walter. Topics will include the need to change your estate plan as life changes as well as discussion of how changes in tax laws and tax codes could affect your estate.

Karen Lawlor and Beth Ditman of the Wendy Slaughter Team will discuss the “State of Real Estate” on Thursday, April 23, 10 a.m. Topics will include:
- What’s going on in the local real estate market?
- Is now a good time to sell?
- What about interest rates?
- How do I choose the right Realtor?
- Does my home need improvements before I sell?
- Does my current home meet my needs today (less maintenance, ability to age in place)

Residences at Vantage Pointis home to over 250 residents. It was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. The community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to two-bedroom deluxe apartments. It provides long-term health services available exclusively for residents should they need them. It is located at 5400 Vantage Point Road.
