Run Like a Kenyan 5k/10k Run/Walk on Nov. 14

Looking for a fun 5k/10k run or walk on a beautiful course? Join Elkridge based, Kenya Connect, a non-profit working to strengthen education in rural Kenya. Kenya Connect’s Learning Resource Center built in 2013, serves 55 partner schools in the rural village in Wamunyu. Just imagine a student getting to see and use a computer for the first time? Proceeds from the race helps to provide technology classes including coding, animation, and robotics to students in Kenya. Top finishers in the race will receive a hand-carved wooden medallion created by the woodcarvers in Wamunyu.
